Brantlyj:

I hate to hear of your wife's cancer. My wife is a survivor of cancer and I well know the issues that presents. My saving grace? I was retired and my children were gone so I could devote my time to her and her alone. My thoughts and prayers go out to you both.

Tom I think the feedback and information would be enlightening to us all. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry Danny
I've never learned from Daniel's and never knew him. I am, by all accounts, "crusty" for sure, but soft on the inside....from what I'm told. Of course, when I miss my bedtime I get irritable, and irritating, as DW has told me. When my grandson was young (now 31) he used to run up to DW and say "grandma, grandpa's getting grumpy", immediately turn to look at me with a big grin like he had got away with something (he liked that word) - I laughed every time. Now, he still does the same thing.....and I laugh every time.
