Trailer Mud Flap

I wanted to keep the road debis kicked up by the trailer tires from spraying the storage totes so I made a set of mud flaps from spare parts in my garage.

That is quality work there. I assumed I would see a cut up rubber bed mat and zip ties... the diamond plate is a nice touch. Agree to shine the tires now. Shine on.

Yeah, the tires should have been shined. I even have the tire shine sitting in my garage. First trip of the year out...oversight. Next time the tires will shine!

Could you possibly add a pic showing how you attached the diamond plate? I'd love to do something similar.

I bolted the diamond plate to 2 x 2 perforated angel iron and welded it to the frame rail. This allowed me to slide the mudflap left or right for better alignment.

Your flaps look really sharp. Nice job cutting the round corners. I see you put front flaps on too. I bet that helps keep the spray down.
