flat bed?

Haven't run this by the keeper of the kingdom's purse (ain't me obviously) but thinking about a flatbed larger Ford truck to haul the 5th wheel. The F250 is fine except brakes are not really great and have a lot of miles and the truck rides really rough due to much to heavy duty shocks.

Anyway, have a 27' Cougar, What is the longest flatbed that I can hook up to using my Andersen Ultimate? The truck has a gooseneck a few inches behind the rear axle. Would like to be able to turn tight without hitting the Cougar. Current truck has 81" bed and can make very sharp turns without touching.

My standard bed is 79 inches with Anderson hitch I never get close to the bed . The front of my toyhualer is scalloped that helps with TV under 8 ft.

Might as well bail on this question... the flatbed had a gooseneck ball below the bed and my Anderson Ultimate steel won't work with a gooseneck ball located in that position. They have now have a flatbed version of the Ultimate and it is $900. I called their tech support and they said although my Ultimate could drop down and connect, the leverage would not be right and it could be dangerous. thanks. On to the search.
