29rbk Cougar outside speakers

Does anyone know if i need 120v to run my outside speakers? Everything else works on my stereo, and the speaker use to work when it was hooked at my house. We are dry camping now, and the outside speakers arnt working anymore.

The speakers are driven by the stereo system. If it is working on 12 VDC (and it should be), then the outside speakers should be working as well. You've probably got a problem with the "switchology". Try adjusting your switches (fader/balance/etc) until they are producing sound. On many trailers the B speaker switch is for the outside speakers and the C switch isn't used at all.

Oh, I've played with all the adjustments, read the manual back to front, and hit every other button. A and B button controll the inside speakers, 2 sets. And C is used for outside set.
Think iam going to try OHMing them from the back of the stereo next.

Very common for one of the leads to come undone at the speaker. I would start there.

I pulled the Jensen stereo out of ours after seeing a hint here about the antenna possibly just being tightly rolled up and poor reception - it was. I also checked the rest of the connections and found a couple suspect. If you have that Jensen, it is only held in place by 4 Robertson screws (well 3 in my case) and the wiring is plenty long enough to have a good look ---- and maybe you will find your antenna in a 3" roll too.

I got nothing as one of the very first things I do to a new trailer is to unplug the outside speakers... Nothing like pluggin in a war movie and having the neighbor banging on your door.. telling you to turn the darn thing off..
