Bullet 272BHS AC to bunks..?

Just purchased a 2014 Bullet 272BHS. The rooftop AC vent is several feet from the rear bunks. It adjusts only in a circle, not up or down. The upper bunk in particular gets very warm. If the privacy curtains are pulled, no AC can get to either bunk. Has anyone figured out a way to keep the two rear bunks comfortable? We are considering buying a small fan for each bunk. I am also planning to fabricate a piece to secure to the ceiling AC vent to better direct the air to the upper bunk.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Turn the vent towards the bunks and in time should get cool. Fans will help for sure.

In case you are new to RVs and have not used the ACs before. They do not cool as a home might. To get the inside cool in hot temps you need to start the ac system up early and keep it going and put up with the noise. Check your manual it says something like the most different inside temps it can change is 20 degrees. So, 100 degree inside temps will lower to 80. Start AC when at 80 and maybe it will hold lower thru out the day. I know from traveling in 100 plus heat all day, than parking the inside never gets cool enough for me until hours later.

I agree sometimes you are cold at night as you run the AC all night so it will maintain the next day.

We are looking at a unit with 50-amp service which also includes pre-wiring and supports for a second A/C unit precisely for this reason. Not going to add the second A/C right away, but willing to spend a little extra now to make it a cost effective addon later.

If you're cooling the bunkhouse for children, pointing the A/C vent to blow cold air directly on them may be counterproductive if your young children are prone to catching "sniffles". The comfort of being "cool" may well be offset by a coughing, sneezing toddler who starts running a fever on the 3rd day of a 7 day vacation. Temper where you point the cold air with your own children's potential to get sick.
