Help I have a2012 travel trailer and I noticed a few small bubbles in the decals.What can I do to keep it from getting any worse?

Given that I have been agonizing over what to use to clean, protect and wax my new Cougar I am curious as to what you may have been using on yours, expecially the decals.

My plan for my decals is to wash with water and apply 303 protectant. No wax as I have yet to find a wax that is OK for vinyl.

I use 303 and a wash and wax from thetford that's supposed to be friendly to decals.My problem is I don't want those small bubbles to get worse and burst.

Well, If it was mine I would find one of these bubbles in an out of the way place and poke the tiniest pin hole in it to release the air or gas and see if it will stick back to the surface.

Have you tried to just press them back down with your thumb?

Try using a hair dryer and heating up the vinyl prior to pressing the air bubble back down.

I have and they just keep coming back.

X2 sounds like a poor installation job. A small bubble trapped during shoddy application at factory will bubble and expand when in sun or hot temps.
If the bubble is isolated to one single location (not widespread) :
I would pierce it with a razor blade, work out bubble with thumb and then gingerly dab the opening with clear nail polish. If you encounter ffurther bubbling from there I would get them replaced under warranty.

An air bubble in a decal is trapped air and can't be removed unless you can somehow push the bubble to the edge of the decal and remove it. If you can't go that, then the only way to remove the air is to use a needle and pinprick the bubble, push the air out and then press the decal down to adhere the adehsive to the RV surface. Using heat guns, hair dryers etc will help "dissolve the air" into the surrounding adhesive (temporarily) but eventually the bubble will recur. Don't "slice" the decal, just use a needle, put a single prick in the center of the bubble and then use your finger to "massage the air out". You'll get rid of the bubble and probably have no further issues with that decal.....
