2000 Dodge Ram 2500

I found this Dodge in my price range. My TT is about 6100 empty and full to max would be about 7500lbs. Has 127K miles on it. Do you think this will be a good match for my TT? Would really like a F250 or F350 with a 7.3 but there just aren't any in my area that are worth buying.

Truck specs:

Engine Transmission GVWR Axle Ratio Maximum Trailer Weight, lbs. GCWR lbs.(b) lbs.(c)

5.9L V-8 Auto. 4-Speed 3.54/4.09 8,800 8,600 14,000

Thanks!!

7500lbs on that 5.9 will lag on any incline. I have the 5.9 in a 1999 1500 and I put 4.10 gears in it. I pull 7000lbs, the gears helped but I still long for a diesel of any kind! Wait for something better. Jmo! You might have better luck!

X2 on that, but then in the condition that truck looks to be in if it was a Diesel it would be about twice as much $$$.
