DirecTV SlimLine LNB5 - No SWM
Has anyone had any experience running more than 1 directv box in their trailer? I have the following dish: http://installeroasis.com/directv-ka...-1-pr-124.html
The trailer (2011 Sydney Edition 320FDB) is satellite ready, but only has 1 coaxial on the outside. From my understanding, the dish I have is not SWM compatible. This being the case, do I just run 1 cable to the outside hook up on the trailer and the other cables via a flat coaxial through the windows?

Yes.
I have nearly same rig as you and can tell you what I did. I have dtv slimline dish connected to one hd and one sd receiver in the fiver. Works great but had to make several small mods with existing factory coaxial wiring.

Satellite options for 2010 320FDB
Hey guys...I have the same question. I would love to be able to use satellite in other rooms besides the main room. Any suggestions? I use a winegard portable dish so I just find a signal and connect it to the pre-wired sat jack. The problem is that I only get it in the main room. Isn't there a switch of some sort where I can wire it to go to another room? Thanks for your help

Not sure if this will work for you, but here is what I did :
Two cables from my dish to cable in and sat in plugs on outside of rv. I then pulled the antenna booster from the wall and pulled out all cables finding a loose hanging splitter. All of the cables in my rig end at this location. I then identified the "cable in" coax (which now goes directly to my dish) and identified the coax that runs to the tv in the bedroom. Once identified, I connected the cable in coax (from dish) to the bedroom coax, using a barrel connector. I now have two separate feeds coming in from dish to two separate locations. Bottom line is both feeds have to go directly to the receivers with no splitters or antenna booster in between.
