Ladder mount bike rack

Just curious to get some opinions regarding ladder mount bike racks. We used one for years with our Forest River Wildcat to carry two mountain bikes but our Hideout 5'ver seems to have a ladder that's not quite as beefy. The photo is similar to the rack we have but I'm a little concerned that this will be too much stress on the ladder.

Wouldn't mount/carry anything on any rv ladder!!
IMHO it's carrying capacity ranks up there with the flimsy bumper, just stout enough to carry a sewer hose.
I wasn't as worried about whatever was attached to the ladder, or bumper, as much as the safety of the family that may be travelling behind me trying to avoid whatever falls off my rv.
I used my rv ladder to lean a real ladder against ONLY.

Watch this and you'll realize why you don't attach anything to RV ladders:

Well I thought outside the box and built a pin box receiver for a bike rack. When I posted the build got a comment from a guy with a SB truck and uses a 4 bike rack without issue.

Getting the layout, level 5er front to back use level to draw the level line on the angle iron.

Mounted on the pin box.

In hitched position, bikes are much narrower than 5er so no issues with clearance.
