Towing with a 2006 Nissan Armada

The family and I have recently purchased a 2012 Passport 3220bh GT western edition, it' an upgrade from our 2011 Passport 2650bh. My question is if anyone knows of anyone else towing with a Nissan Armada. I've done the homework on all the weights including the GCWR and the numbers are close by about 400 lbs. Is that cutting it to close? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure how the Nissan Armada specs compare to the those of the Toyota Tundra but we do have several members here who are currently towing with the Tundra. By all accounts, these members seem very satisfied with their Toyota towing whatever they presently have. Their situations may differ from yours however. My guess is that you would not have much wiggle room with either of these TV's and the Passport 3220BH.

We have a 2009 Armada, and we are extremly happy with it towing our Passport 300BH, I can honestly say I forget every now and then it's behind the Armada. My empty weights are 525 tongue and UVW 5520lbs. On the scale I weigh in at 6700lbs.

The Auto leveling took a little getting use too. But now I just drop the trailer on the ball, start the truck and it levels everything, then I raise the rear of the truck about 2" and hook up my equalizer hitch.

By spreading the axles an additional 10" The extra wide stance equalizes weight & provides superior towability.
