Hercules str tires

Looking at purchasing set of Hercules str 235/16/80E for my 2012 cougar 331MKS. Does anyone have any positive or negative experience with this brand of tire?

We replaced our Towmax tires with Carlisle's last September and have travelled over 5,000 miles since then, they still look good no air loss and are wearing evenly

Check a post about Hercules tires done about 3 weeks ago. I noticed that the tread on my tow max and hercules is the exact same. Checking the manufacturers codes printed on the sidewall show both of those tires are made in China by the same tire company only at a different plant. Not saying they are good or bad. I have both and so far no problems. Many on here do not like the tow max.

My experience has been lousy with any of the present day ST tires - they just don't seem to have the quality and uniformity they did years ago. You are fortunate to have 16" wheels. In vest in a set of good quality LT tires rated for "all position" use.

I upgraded to the Hercules power str. I went up from 235/80/16 E load 10 ply into a 235 85 16 f load 12 ply. @ years and no problems. 95 psi .Sidewall is very stiff no rolling tread wear is very good so far. I think they are currently @ about 7000 miles.

We have a transporter for a spare. Never used it but the local reputable tire shop swears by them. They use them on all their trailers. $105 a pop. They have a nice directional tread and have a tread similar to a Michelin quality. When mine wear down thats what im byin.
