New Sneakers Installed!!

My F-150 just got 2 new pairs of sneakers yesterday. LOL Set of four new Michelin LTX M/S2 275/55R20 tires. I could actually feel the difference in the ride immediately. Good cornering and excellent ride on the highway. The Perelli's that were on the truck were passenger vehicle rated, are now on Craigslist. I'm picking up our new Bullet on April 14th. Can't wait.

Yes Gary. We went to Flagg RV this morning to drop off our hitch and electric jack for installation on the new trailer. Taking it home April 14th!! As most winters go, we here in New England need patience awaiting the nice weather. Won't be long now. Hope you have a great camping season!!

Those Michelins are only rated for the same load rating as the stockers, right?
Is it just the engineering and top quality materials which makes them better.
I looked at those first, but have since looked at General or Cooper which are 119XL to help combat sway.

FWIW, I have used those Michelins and really liked them. However, the last few sets have been Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2's LRE. They last as long as the Michelins, but offer a bit more traction in mud/snow for my purposes. They are a very stable tire while towing. You can't really go wrong with either brand, in my experience.

Costco with a $70 off coupon or Discount Tire is where I shop. Unloaded: 60PSI front and 55PSI rear. Loaded/towing: 60PSI front and 80PSI rear. Even wear.
