Maxxis Trailer Tires

Well today I replaced my 2007 Carlisle trailer tires (225/75R15) with Maxxis M8008 load range D (Tiawanese). They look great and ride well. My TT is a 2008 model, but the tires from the factory were coded 23rd week of 2007. The Carlisles were cracking at the bead area really bad and just were not worth a blow out. Got the whole set for under $450 with balancing included. Read alot on the Net that Carlisle just to did hold up well, aged quickly. Anyone else riding on Maxxis?

Had them on our last TT, worked great. New TT came with USA Marathons (now made in China, too bad).

Just replaced the "No Name" 225/75r15 D tires on our new Crossroads with Maxxis Es. (Yes, the wheels are rated for them) Coudn't get the OEM tires off fast enough!

We bought Maxxis tires for our cargo trailer about 3 years ago. Upgraded from 205 75R15 to 225 75R15 load range D. They have been really good. Track well, we don't protect them while in storage (only 2 tires and trailer in use often) and they've held up well through one year in Louisiana and 2 years in Michigan. They've seen 100 + temps at 70MPH and sub zero weeks with loads that taxed them to the limit. They have held up much MUCH better than the Carlisle tires that were on the trailer.

Our new 5th wheel has Chinese tires, when they need replacing, it'll be Maxxis for us.
