Batteries won't charge when on shore power

Mark Dawson have you had any luck with a fix for your problem? I am still having this problem. I did check my solar controller and found the wire to the RX port was loose. I tightened it but am still having the same problem. I have moved the trailer out of my workshop and am trying to see if it will run exclusively on solar. My plan today is to open the giggy box and see if there is any corrosion or other problem. This problem is very baffling.

As I stated in an earlier post when I'm connected to shore power and the sun goes down the batteries start draining. I found that I can disconnect the batteries at the giggy box, wait a couple of minutes and then reconnect. Everything goes back to normal at that point.
