Odd project car

I have my kinda project Bronco, always working on never finishing.

My bro in law is a a horse trader when It comes to rides.

Tonight he picks up a 32’ Ford Roadster project. It’s a glass body, but the head scratcher is it’s rear engine 1100cc street bike powered.

I’m getting pics from him, and it gets weirder as he says it has a 280z rear that is chain driven.

Anyone ever heard of such a thing?

Sounds like a "Kar Kit" VW bolt on with some pretty drastic "kit builder mods"...

Or, one of the Speedway kits.

The last time I asked a man who had done a Speedway kit he admitted he had purchased it for a cool 50K. Then he and his two sons assembled it. (It was the DELUXE model of course)
Man, I hope there was some serious bonding....

I like the whole 32-34 Ford thing but its over done and I feel like my ZZ top days are over.

But they have a look, and I know people try and find something new. I just don't know where is going or were it was LOL.

Ill stick with my Bronco and see where he goes. He says the thing is scary fast. I have ZERO desire to get in it.

"He says the thing is scary fast." Yup, anything over about 40 in that thing would be scary!

That's not a 32 it's a 30-31 Model A. Also doesn't have doors. Hope he's tall and limber enough to jump in. I wonder what front and rear suspension was used I see they are only 4 lug rather than 5. Hopefully he got it cheap as it will probably be hard to sell if it wasn't. Just reread your first post and saw the 280Z rear I'll bet that's what the front end is also. Quite a conglomeration that I'd want no part of

Yes I’m sure he got it cheap. He is always into something and then out and on to the next thing. He’s a small skinny guy, but the wirey strong, like the kids who wrestled in high school.
