Installed a drawer under the oven to make the space more friendly to use. Also installed upgraded interior speakers and a replacement (under warranty) Jensen audio/visual unit

Lol, anything other than the originals is an upgrade. But this is what I installed. Zero modifications except I reused the original grills to ensure clearance when the slide is moving in or out.

Work in progress: Added hard drive, receiver, and network equipment to set up internal network and surround sound and to connect the 4 tv's we have installed. When my son in law is finished we will be able to watch any movie on the hard drive on any tv.
So far we can watch movies on the main tv and the main bunkhouse tv. Still need to connect master and finish setting up surround and subwoofer. Also adding cooling to the cabinet as the receiver puts out a lot of heat. Also upgrade the master TV to a slightly bigger unit (32" Viso unit) than this picture

How does the hard drive work? Would be interested in the process to rip the movies. I don’t want to add a receiver but if there was someway to that I to the tv somehow that would be awesome. Feel free to PM as discussing the ripping process might be frowned upon

I used Playlater to "record" streaming shows (https://www.playon.tv/playlater). I connected a hard drive to a router in my TT. Then connected a Fire TV stick to the TVs. They could stream anything without internet. I can explain more if needed.

How are you connecting the hard drive to the router?

USB port. I used an older Asus router. Most routers have USB ports now. I have a cheap travel router that has one on it.

Cleaned the roof of our Carbon 5th wheel toy hauler day before yesterday. This morning, while it was a little bit cooler, I treated the roof with 303 protector. Glad that's done.

First picture shows it as it was shooting straight out the back.
Second and third are the modified.
I got tired or screwing with the outside kitchen cook-top hose and added a "T" to the gas connection at the furnace, in the next compartment and hooked the cook-top directly to that.

Now I have 2 quick connections outside that I can use for my Weber Q and my Blackstone fire pit, which I converted from a regulator to a quick connect fitting.

Checked and cleaned the Dicor sealant all around the roof and touched up where needed. Not the most fun job, but you will rest better knowing you are good to go!

Finished up with the pegboard install in the pass through storage area. Still need to add some more hooks for tools and such.

Steve,

Your pegboard looks great, and when you're parked, it will provide some "organization to your passthrough storage"... A couple of quesitons:

Have you given any thought to keeping the grease from your equalizer bars off that clean pegboard"

How are you planning to keep everything "hanging neatly on pegboard hooks when you're towing??? I find it hard to even get a tool off the hook in my pole barn without the hook coming off the pegboard with the tool as I "lift it away from the hook"... My guess is that on your first tow with that setup, you'll find the passthrough floor "littered with stuff that was hanging when you started"...

It sure does look nice right now, but .....

My peg board has never been a problem. Nothing I hang big or small has ever fallen off.

I can't even get a paintbrush off the pegboard in my pole barn without the peg coming with it. Bump the wall with something and "bits and pieces" rain down to the workbench under it... We must be using different pegs, different boards or I'm just not holding my tongue right when I hang stuff.....

John, So far after our last trip of 400 miles, everything mostly stayed in place. I will need to find some other hooks for some items that didn't stay in place though. The grease from the bars has not been a problem as of yet, but may need to rethink that part. Always a work in progress it seems. I still want to add foam insulation to the "ceiling" part of the pass through yet, but like i said always a work in progress.

I'm still modifying our 2014 Cougar... That part never seems to be finished. In fact, today, I'm replacing the slide roller assemblies on our main slide. Seems the "fantastic roads in Colorado" (I 70 west of Denver) did a number on the plastic rollers in the gear assemblies. Hopefully after that, I can "modify the seals under the slide" to be more air tight during winter use.....

I completely understand the "work in progress"....

John, they sell “pegboard hook retainer clips” (see McMaster-Carr, I can’t post a link them because the McMaster app keeps popping up in place of the browser on the iPad.). Get the metal ones, the plastic retainer clips can fail over time.
