Hello from Basketball Land!

Hello everyone! Finally moved up from being a long-time pop-up camper. Looking forward to getting out camping and not spending an hour setting things up and taking them down!

Enjoy the NCAA tourneys and Boiler Up!

Congrats! Moved up from a pop-up 18 years and 7 rigs ago. May your journeys be joyful. Go Lady Utes tonight!

Tough day to be a Boiler fan. I can't say much since my Hawkeyes didn't do any better.

Purdue has joined an elite group of teams whose actions are never to be forgotten.
The good news is you are 'moving on up' and camping season is right around the corner.

Ugh...

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm wondering which team I should now spoil the tournament for by cheering for them...

Welcome from Illinois, up near the Cheddar Curtain. I hear ya on the pop-up, been there and done that for a year. I had a nice pop-up at the time, it had electric roof, and a toilet and shower, but it was still a pain to set up and take down. I traded it for our Passport a year later and never looked back.

We liked camping in the Turkey Run area but haven't been that way in a while as we don't like traveling thru Chicago. I'll drive a hundred miles out of the way to avoid Chicago. Because of that we tend to head west to Iowa or north to Wisconsin for most of our trips.

This forum is great place to gather information and advice. I spend a lot of time reading and learning about things to do and try. As far as basketball goes I won't watch it unless the Da Bears are playing.

From a fellow Hoosier.... Welcome to the forums and congrats on your transition from Pop-up to Hideout!

I live in the Madison County between Lapel, Anderson, and Pendleton.

For what it's worth, our neighbor's last name is "Purdue" and across the field the other neighbor painted a gigantic red and white IU on the end of their barn which we see all the time. Because of our neighbors, I have not committed to either team!

So.... where did my son go to college: You guessed it: IUPUI (Indianapolis). He finally committed to the "Purdue" deploma!

For those of you who don't know what that is, it's (Indiana University - Purdue University - Indianapolis). It a campus that has both universities and share professors and classes. When graduating, the student decides if he want to graduate from Purdue or Indiana University.

I’m 4 rigs from my last pop-up and never looked back. Good Luck in the tournament.
