My lucky day?

I'm at 45,000 miles on the Michelin LTX's. They are still good, but they're getting down there. I've been happy with them so thought I would replace with the same. I called Discount Tire yesterday just to be sure they usually have them in stock for when I decide to pull the trigger on replacing them. Sure they said they almost always have them but call first. $263 each.
And, would I be interested in a set of take-offs? Hmmm.....how many miles on them? Less than 200....just from the dealer to here. How much? $150 each. Full warranty? Yes, just like new ones. Yes I would be interested.
Installed this morning.

I feel so lucky I bought a Powerball ticket. I'm sure I'll be on the Prevost forum soon.

I went to the Prevost forum, but decided I like y'all better.

Yes, exact same tire.
But I did turn the black side out, instead of the white outline letters out.

Do you get the warranty with the used ones? Still a great price, but the ATs have a 65k warranty and the MS2 has 70k mile. If you pulled the others at 45k, you lost out on a lot of mileage that you would get some compensation for.

Yes I got the warranty on the new ones.
I had just replaced the Michelins on the Jeep GC and asked about remaining warranty on them. They said no because they were OEM. Assuming the same situation on the truck, I didn't even bring it up.

That's what concerned me about the new ones, they were an OEM tire that they took on trade so I wasn't sure if they were going to give the warranty. If they are giving you the new tire warranty, that is definitely a great deal, congrats.
