Trailer Brake Type

I am a new owner of a Montana 3402RL that I have not towed yet. I am trying to set the tow vehicle's integrated brake controller correctly. Are the brakes heavy electric or heavy electric over hydraulic? Thanks for the help.

Electric only. You will likely need to set the gain on the upper end. My fiver weighs 12k and I set my GM integrated controller to 8.5 for optimal braking. You may find that the adjustment needs change based on temperature of brakes, and load, grades, etc.
