Jensen Stereo Issue

I have the standard Jensen stereo in my 232SRT 2013. I cannot get the radio to play off of my thumb drive. When I insert the drive the monitor says it is reading it for about 30 seconds and then returns to the basic radio. I can even see some of the songs on the TV screen, but not all of them. It will play the songs I can see. The drive plays fine in all my other appliances at home and in the car. Any help.
