It is my understanding that you can't have two regulators operating at the same time with the propane BBQ. The RV tank is already regulated and having another one on the Weber won't provide adequate pressure for the BBQ to operate properly. The solution would be, I think, to remove the regulator from the Weber, remove the tank from the RV or carry a separate 10 or 20 lb tank.
If you do a forum search on the Weber BBQ you will find some posts which refer to this topic and what others have done when using the RV propane tank as the main supply.
