Hi, thanks for the add. New member from Alberta though we have been camping for about 7 years now. Our current trailer is a 2012 Cougar 25RLES, hoping to get a Cougar 5th wheel soon. Looking for maybe a 29 footer.

Depending on your tow vehicle you could possibly need more for a 30'+ 5th wheel.

Well, I do have a 3/4 ton right now, gas, with the 6 speed. As long as overall length is not much more than 32’ so I can still fit it on my driveway RV pad for summer. If I went much longer I am thinking I would have to get diesel or newer truck as mine is rated for 9500, but I have to factor in box junk and people and loading trailer.
