Hayes Sway Master Electronic Sway Control

Is anybody using one of these or had experience with one? I have a 35’ TT, for the most part it pulls well, just the occasional sway from high winds or a passing semi. Was wondering if it was worth the $240

There was a "electronic gyroscope sway control system" introduced in the 80's. It mounted in the rear of the trailer and applied the trailer brakes to help control sway. It didn't go over very well and sort of "died on the vine" after a couple of years.

Since then, all the automobile manufacturers have introduced sway control into their towing packages. I'd ask the Hayes people if their system "competes with" or "augments" the installed anti-sway system that may be in your tow vehicle. While they may be compatible, the two systems may not work together.

What are you pulling the 35' trailer with?
