no flowing hot water.
I've tried everything I know of. Keystone Passport, 2012 My hot water stopped flowing from every outlet out of the blue while camping. I have hot water. The lines are hot up to every faucet. When I turn them on, I get nothing. I purged any air. By-passed the hot water heater, used the city hook up, and got cold water thru the hot water lines at all faucets. Need help. I'm missing something.

Sounds like a plugged backflow valve on the input side of the water heater..

Sudsy, I'm a little wary about your statement of "the lines are hot right up to the faucet." The lines don't get hot without water flowing in them. Maybe explain this to us again.....

Occasionally, sometimes, don't know why, hot water will drip from the faucet briefly. At that time, the lines are hot.

I'm telling you... turn the heater off... drain the water and unscrew the one way valve on the outlet side of the tank... then either replace it or re-plumb to eliminate the need for the valve. It's only there because it is cheaper to install it than to plumb the system with three valves to segregate the tank for winterizing..
Another benefit of using three valves is no more burst of cold water in the shower when cutting off the spray head to soap up..

The material from the anode tube in the hot water tank gets sucked into the hot water lines and plugs them up.

Thank you Javi. I removed the valve and I have hot water. Thank you very much. The spring was off the plunger stem in the valve. Is that why it was plugging?
