fuel station mod

Hi everyone, my first time posting. I want to plumb my fuel station tank and the gen fuel tank together to access more fuel for the atv's. I have solar setup and I don't really use the gen much.Has anyone attempted this?

I wouldn't mind a mod like this either. Doesn't seem like many if any have done it yet. Im currently having an issue with my fuel station pump not working.... Ill do a new thread regarding that. Thx

My fuel station and generator gas already come from the same tank. Are you sure you have 2 different tanks?

My Raptor 4014 definitely has two different tanks, one for the Gen Set and one for the Fuels Station.

I have 2 tanks as well. What I was planning was to put in a electric-fuel-tank-selector-valve, with a second diaphragm fuel pump off the new port pumping fuel from the genset tank to the fuel station tank. My theory is the valve will only be active when the second pump is active to transfer fuel. Be careful, when the fuel station tank is full it will dump fuel all over the ground!

Yes Jager, I too have 2 separate tanks. I am thinking of putting a threaded fuel line between the 2 tanks near the bottom. My main concern is debris getting in the tanks from drilling and threading. The DW aka "The War Department" and I carry 2 atv's
and we go out for 2-3 weeks at a time always carrying extra gas cans in the truck bed. I have solar so I don't use the gen much, we are just wanting to utilize that tank without some strange sort of siphoning device.

i don't have your camper but is it possible to put a longer hose on the fueling station and simply pump fuel from the filling station into the tank that runs the gen set?

No need for the longer hose, mine reaches the gen set. Im thinking the main purpose of this mod is to have more fuel for the toys if needed.,.,., at least for me it is.......

Yes, that's correct I am wanting to hook up both tanks to run more fuel for the toys. I hardly ever use the gen as we have solar power. I'm trying to get away from all of the loose gas cans in the pickup bed.
