Coffee maker
So I'm looking for a smaller or an under the cupboard coffee maker and was wondering what everyone uses.
I would like to get one that actually can make more then one cup at a time.
So far I can't seem to find much.

I'm the only coffee drinker in the family. I drink about 2 large mugs in the morning. I bought this:
http://www.target.com/p/mr-coffee-5-...n+coffee+maker
It's a 5 cup and brews coffee pretty quick and seems to keep it hot. It's small and takes up very little counter space.

Now that I think of it that's not a bad idea as the space on the stove isn't being used anyway.

I have one already and my issues is that if I put it behind the sink against the wall I can't fill it up unless I pull the whole thing out.

I really like my coffee and so we use a two cup French Press, and of course special beans. Any more than two cups at a time and it won't be fresh.

And a French press is another great space saving idea! I have to grind my beans every morning because it's the fresh way of doing it!
My mom has an old hand grinder back from her Country that I think would be cool to have in the trailer.

We have two French Press coffee makers and a small 4 cup electric as well. The small one is in the cupboard but the French press is easier and better. You can use it with or without electricity. Just boil water on the stove or with a electric kettle

I'm starting to think that the French press will be the ideal way to go. It takes up no space, I can put my grinds in and no filter.
It's just me so no need for a big pot either.
Oh but then again little Zoe sneaks my coffee too!

We use an unbreakable (polycarbonate?) Coffee press I picked up at REI. It has been packed in on Horseback, carried in a pack and generally kicked around for years and still makes great coffee.
The only negative I have found is (in a dry camp) it takes a bit of water to rinse out after each use as opposed to just tossing a filter basket into the trash.

We take our Keurig coffee maker with us but there is a Mini Keurig K10 Brewing System for single cup available. These machines kind of cost a little more but you can't beat the fresh taste. We use it for coffee, tea (with tea K-cups and also to make a cup of tea-bag tea with hot water), and hot chocolate.

We use a very old Pyrex stovetop perc. It has been camping with us for over 30 years now. Tried a countertop model, but it just wasn't the same.

another vote for a stove top percolator, altho mine's a glass coleman one I've had for years. I just went to the coleman website and they don't show that one any more, but they do still have the blue speckled percolators.

Well I bought a French press today, two actually, a small one and a big one and they sure are a space saver.
Now to find a toaster that doesn't take up too much space. I bought a small bagel toaster the other day but I'm not too happy with it. It's just a cheap one so I got what I paid for.

Should have got an AeroPress. Best coffee you can make, and it's only 25.00, and very space saving.

I too just move my Keurig from house to camper.
I also keep a stash of instant coffee single packets just in case I somehow forget my Keurig. Have had to use these once.

We use a camp stove toaster. $4 and takes up less space than a small frying pan.

This can't win me any friends! Went through the Gavalia, Starbucks et al. I'm on my forth Keurig. I finally ended up with (yes I mean it) Folgers Classic Instant. The Keurig is now an expensive tea kettle. In the TT I have a "hot pot" to boil water and use the instant. We actually like it .

The wild west way of making coffee was to heat water in a coffee pot by the fire, then pour coffee grounds into the water and after it steeps, pour the grounds and all into cups. Cowboys were expected to strain the big grounds out with their teeth
We have a Coleman coffee maker, but it usually takes too long to perk a pot of coffee, so I start with boiling water, pour it through the grounds in the top of the Coleman and "VOILA" coffee in just a couple minutes. With the filter in the Coleman, even "toothless cowboys" can enjoy their morning coffee.
