Terrain 285TRE

I was looking at this trailer on the Keystone website, and instantly fell in love with the floor plan. I wish there were specs on it. They all say TBD. Presumably, this is a new model, and it's not yet released. I looked on YouTube for a dealer tour, and there are no results. Anyone have any info?

The specs aren't available, but here's a "guesstimate"

The 285 sits between the 275 and the 299. Here's the specs on each of them, the 285 should be "in the middle" at least it's something to estimate with.....

275:
Length 30'0"
Width 8'0"
Height 10'11"
Hitch Weight 675 lbs
Dry Weight 5,758 lbs
Cargo Weight 2,042 lbs
Fresh Water Capacity 43 gals
Grey Water Capacity 30 gals
Black Water Capacity 30 gals
Tire size ST225/75R15D

299:
Length 32'6"
Width 8'0"
Height 10'11"
Hitch Weight 790 lbs
Dry Weight 6,343 lbs
Cargo Weight 2,157 lbs
Fresh Water Capacity 43 gals
Grey Water Capacity 65 gals
Black Water Capacity 30 gals
Tire Size ST225/75R15D
Slides 2

Even though there's 700 lbs difference in GVW between the 275 and 299, they're on the same tires (and probably axles) so the 285 should be somewhere between them in weight and GVW. Tongue weight however can be dramatically different, so that may fall anywhere on the spectrum.

You're correct... Terrain was added to the Keystone line-up in Feb. & the 285TRE is a new floorplan. I just checked 10 dealers (coast to coast) and none had the specs listed (yet) for this model.

Here's one previous discussion:

We just purchased ours in June and LOVE it. Here is the specs for the 321TBH we purchased:

I tow it with a truck very similar to yours.
