Self igniting oven

My Springdale has the Atwood 3 burner range with piezo lighting for the top. But the oven is a PIA to light for every use. It's too hot to leave pilot on all the time. Has anyone come across a replacement range that offer self igniting oven?

Never seen one. In fact, I was really surprised to find that my new to me 2012 Bullet was not a piezo start cook top. Gotta have a lighter. On recent RVs that I have owned, 2006 motor home and 2009 TT, both have had a manual light oven with piezo start cooktop.

I emailed Atwood/Wedgewood to inquire about that and the "toasting" function my oven claims to have, but doesn't address in the user's manual. 43 of the 48 hours they claim to respond in have past. The clock is ticking...

Lou, I poked. But only one post on switching to "electronic" V "piezo". I'm ok with that but there doesn't seem to be a follow to the question of "melting wires" in the oven cavity. I will pm you.
thanks again.

Well two emails that went unanswered to Atwood fired (pun intended) me up to call direct. Atwood must be as large as GM since you have to wade through a bunch of "press 1...".
Anyway, Atwood does not make any self igniting ovens nor do they have any kits to upgrade.
Atwwod tech told me I was the first person who asked that question! (WTF) Nice to know I'm number 1 at something.

I have not seen a self lighting oven ever. I not saying that way don't exist but, never seen/heard of one. I was at the Keystone new owners workshop several weeks ago and that question was asked. The guy said no one makes them for safety reasons, What safety reason? I do not know.

I went to home depot and bought a electronic replacement BBQ lighter by charbroil. it came with 4 outputs, 3 I wired to the top burners, the 4th wire has heavy insulation and using the wire and spark gap they had I wired it to the oven pilot light.

Best mod I ever did according to DW.
