Alpine Entry Door
So one of the things that bugged me was a binding entry door on my Alpine. Keystone denied a fix, adjustments are not covered.
Anyway, looking at the door while opening and closing, it separates from the door frame. I have some pics. You can see that the door pulls away from the frame (look at gap in the vinyl) and it goes into frame when I am pulling it open.
Any thoughts?

From your photos it appears that the hinges are not mounted the same in relation to the door frame. Meaning that either the top or bottom of the door is further away or closer to the door frame.

Ok, I’ll grab a tape and take a look. Should mention it’s one of those “stiff” doors that stays where you leave it. So it takes more 💪 to move it.

Those "friction type" hinges have been a PITA since they came out! Your best bet is to find non friction replacements before it damages the door further.

Yeah I think that is the problem. In laws outback isn’t as stiff as ours and they complain all the time as I “slam” their door. I’m used to ours that takes a lot of effort to close.
Also, looks at the hinges as mentioned, the middle one is about 1/8 to 1/4 closer to the outside of door than the upper and lower which look the same distance for both of them

Any ideas on just replacing the hinges? They are riveted to the door casing
Or there is a screw on the bottom of each hinge, anyone take it out and see what’s inside?

The door is made by Lippert. Call them and see if they can help.

Hey Fish, Before tearing things apart etc., how about trying multiple applications of a teflon based dry lube spray. That may free things up a bit.----Lou----
