Alpine 3200rl AC/heat-pump

I just purchased 2012 alpine 3200rl. I was told that the AC is also a heatpump. Is this correct and what is the heat output.

Yes, the rear unit is a heat pump. Did you get a manual? Dometic does have manuals on line. I'll be at our Alpine this afternoon and look for the BTU rating, but it should be in the manual.

Do a search on the Forum for "heat pump" as there have been extensive postings and discussions on them.

What I have says: 15,000 BTU A/C Heat Pump. So I guess that means both A/C and heat pump are 15,00 BTU. The furnace is 42,000 BTU.

If you are to pick your Alpine up next week, I would suggest printing off a copy of the PDI. Also, if you look through the Forum, you will see several concerns about the inflow from the furnace ducts. I found my problems and fixed them. You may want to fire up the furnace and check the living area floor frills, especially when compared to the bedroom.
