Was thinking of the same to primarily block the heat, but in other applications I've seen, the reflecting heat damaged the plastic window. I wonder if anyone has experienced damage to the bubble skylight over the shower using a reflective foil?

Also, I would prefer to not wear a baseball cap or apply sunblock when taking a shower. I'm a sensitive guy...

I used the "lacey" type of nonskid shelf liner (the kind with holes, not the solid sheet type) and pulled the inside shower skylight down, used gorilla tape (4 small pieces) and taped it to the top part of the inside half of the skylight. It cuts down on about 50-75% of the heat/light, makes it much more subdued to stand in the shower without sunglasses while trying to get "de-stinkified"

I had good luck with the shower piece, we used it mostly at night to block out the morning light and removed it after we woke up and had the morning cup !

I reccomend getting a shade or balckout curtain specfically cut for the window. It's important to measure your window space as to get the right shade also. There a great video and infographic on how to do this at https://shadesshop.com/pages/measuring-guide
