Carbon 31 Audio replacenmnet

Anyone done a upgrade on the factory installed unit. Really does not perform very well. One other issue my wife hates is the speaker switches. Switch for outside speakers switch for garage speakers but for some reason the choose not to put a switch for the cabin. So listen to the speakers outside you need to crank up the volume but then it blast you out in the cabin. Need to replace the unit and get a switch for the cabin speakers. Anyone have any ideas or pics?
current unit has DVD AM-FM but would like to have Bluetooth compatible unit as well.

I feel your pain

We have the same problem with our carbon 357. It drives me crazy also. I have thought about making it so the switches work for outside and inside. But I really have not had a chance to look it over , we have just had it for a couple months.

Radio Replacement

HI,
I too wanted to replace the crappy radio in my Fuzion 371 so I did just that this week. Looks from pictures of your Carbon 31 that the same could be done.

I bought this unit on Amazon. I wanted the Bluetooth, Better sound, XM, etc.

Then I cut out the opening to fit the Double Din sleeve. Then hooked up the wires, however the Radio Trim Benzel needed to be filed down to fit right over the radio and up to the wood.

I also replaced the outdoor speakers with these Kenwoods:

These sounds Amazing.

Now next step to the problem. I am going to build a box to inclose the speakers from the outside which is behind my couch. Then I will add a switch and two speakers in the coach for indoor listening without the outdoor speakers on.

Not sure why Keystone cant do this at the factory !!!

Best of Luck
