Screwing into floor of slide

I'm wanting to install our new Springfield pedestal when we get the camper out of storage this weekend. Our current table set up is the folding pop up pain in the knees table that isn't attached to the floor. So, has anyone had experience screwing into the slide out floor, as far as length of screws and if there's anything in the floor assembly I have to be careful of? Any other tips or tricks I should know about? Thank you!

Figure the slide floor is most likely 3/4" thick. Any wiring, cable, etc will enter/exit at the corners as a rule. Just extend the slide and look where your planning on securing the table to be sure.

Thank you. And here I thought the slide floor was probably some sort of sandwich of plywood and foam core for a little insulation value, with stiffeners where the rollers are. Now I'm wondering if such short screws will hold the Springfield base well without it wobbling after installation. I guess I will find out!

If it's a four legged pedestal table it should be pretty stable if all four legs are screwed down. I've got my table screwed down and it does just fine.

Mine was a fold down had the pedestal put in table is firm
