Smile new member looking to upgrade

currently have a 2005 mallard tt 27fqs and looking to upgrade to a new one. we are considering cougar 28rls and would be towing with 2012 ram hemi 1/2 ton rated at 10,050#. another option is an outdoors wind river 250rks which is a bit heavier and more expensive. any thoughts?

Cougar

Hello,
We pull our 2014 Cougar 28rls with a 2013 Ford F150 ecoboost 4x4, and it handles it really well. It's been a really reliable trailer. I think you will really love the floor plan - especially the bathroom.

Another Vote for the 28RLS
Great floor plan
We purchased out 10/2013 and have had very few minor issues .
We have camped in temp extreme's of 100F Down to 30F .
The 1500 Hemi Ram should be fine to tow this trailer.

We have a 2005 Cougar 28RLS and love it. We are starting to look at the new models though.

Your hemi will pull the 28rls just fine. I pulled our 2014 Cougar High Country 319rls from TX to FL and back and it did OK. The 28rls is considerably lighter which is good because the 319rls was maxing the 1/2 ton out all over the place. I don't know how much heavier the wind river is but you don't want to go much heavier than the gvw of the 28rls. Oh, and welcome to the forum
