We've been in the SRX since Dec 10, and in Tiki Island, TX with the son since the 19th. Be here until the 1st, then on to Cranfils Gap, TX to visit friends. This retirement thing is pretty sweet.

Also in New England, I'm not camping but did replace the speakers in the camper. It was nice just to be in it pretending it was work.

Been in mine working on some minor lighting changes, took a nap.

Might still get away later in the week.

Been in ours since Dec. 23 over the holidays. Woke up to snow this morning; unusual for W TX. Having a great time, house full of family and doing it all camped in our lot next door!! Hope everyone had very Merry Christmas!

NNE wind 20-25 with gusts to 40 mph, temps hovering between 39F & 40F with wind chills in the high 20F's, humidity 100%.. Goose Island SP, Rockport, Texas... been here since the 27th and going home the 3rd..

Wouldn't trade it for the world.. we've been stuffing on seafood and sitting in the trailer looking out at the bay blown flat by the wind.. nice and quiet except for the howl of the wind and the snores of the two dogs curled up on the couch under a blanket.

I will say that I have a new appreciation for the fake fireplace since the cold front hit last night.

We envy you Texas people - but not in the summer. -19 here in Wyoming last night, and right now in broad daylight -6. No camping for us unless we travel to TX!
