This is pulling into our second location, on our 1800 mile maiden voyage.

Camped on Terlingua creek at the old La Kiva campground.

All setup!

La Kiva and the campground are not actually open, the previous owner was murdered and the new owner is renovating, but he told us we were welcome to camp.
He is a very nice guy and would not take any money from us, for the 5 nights we camped, I told him I wanted the recognition of being his first paying customer and got him to take $20

Thanks John!

They seem to work really well. Only used a couple times and no issues. Just remember to loosen before making adjustments.

Since everyone has seen a 2014 F250 Crew Cab and a 2015 Cougar 30RLI travel trailer, I thought that I would post a picture of the license for your amusement.

NOTE: TRALR was taken as well as TRILR so we had to settle for TRYLR.

Well I said I would never get a diesel due to the cost but I upgraded from my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd with the 6.0 to my mechanics well maintained 2002 dodge ram 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins built to the nuts. It's fun to drive with 680 hp at the fly wheel on dyno. Tranny and rearend are beefed up to. I upgraded to pull my 2014 hideout 31bhds to Yellowstone and I think this truck will do the trick. Loving the 24 mpg vs my 13 mpg with the gaser! So far I have only driven city /hwy and have not pulled with it yet.

Nice setup. The combo caught my eye! Tough to tell from the angle of your photo, seems to be more gap between trailer wheels and trailer/skirt. By chance did you have to block up your trailer due to being nose-high?

I ask, because I am. Originally pulled my 247FWRLLS with a 1/2 ton. All adjustment has been used to decrease height of pinbox. I'd like to get weights between axles, no difference in pressure or temp by TPMS though, don't "think!" I'm transferring too much weight to rear axle. Considering blocking up trailer to get a more level position.

It looks like to me that Jlwright flipped the axles on his trailer. I had to do the same on the last 5th wheel we had. It definitely raises it up and I actually had to get a new fold out step as it needed a third step after the axle flip.

Wish mine could be that easy, leaf springs already on top of the axles.

Thanks though.

Ooooh, that sux. Im not sure but I have found the smaller lighter 5th wheels seem to ride lower as our prior one did. I assume its because they are trying to cater to the 1/2 ton maket
