If you do not have a ladder on your trailer, Keystone recommends the roof is not "walkable". That said, you can determine the thickness of the roof decking by removing the plastic trim from the bathroom vent. Once removed (4 screws) you can pull staples from one of the roof membrane flaps and lift it away from the vent framing. The "extreme top layer of OSB is the thickness of the roof decking material... If it's 1/4" the roof is considered not walkable. If it's 3/8" the roof is "walkable"....
That said, all three of the major truck manufacturers use 150 pounds as the passenger weight for GVW, GCWR, Max trailer weight and payload. Keystone also uses a "similar weight" when determining the "walkability" of the roof...
So, if you're 150-175 pounds, you probably would not damage the "walkable roof. On the other hand, if you weight 350 pounds, well you can readily understand that your weight is significantly more than the truck manufacturers and Keystone used in determining their calculations....
So, there's significantly more than "is the roof on my trailer walkable?" and the answer for two identical trailers owned by two different RV'ers could easily be "yes" in one situation and "HECK NO" in the other.....
