Best portable generator

If money is no object, get a Honda EU3000iS. It won’t likely run AC and microwave at the same time, but that should be pretty easy to accommodate.

Exclamation Generator

Hi Brian
I'm no expert but I have two Honda 2000 IU that work fine for us. I carry them in front of the fifth wheel hitch and they are light enough for this 65 year old guy to handle even when full of fuel. I have found that most of the time when needed I can get by with just one but when hooked together they produce approx. 27 amps which runs an electric hot water and A/C just not anything else. If I need the microwave I turn the hot water heater to propane and I never have any problems. I did make a 6 gallon gas tank that gravety flows and runs both units for a couple days.

Ruffus, that's interesting. I already have on Honda EU2000i, and have many times have thought of adding a second with the paralleling kit. But the limiting factor was the fuel supply, and therefore the running time. So how did you hook up your 6 gal gravity feed tank to the generators?

thanks,
