2018, 3 trip and a drip!!!!

3rd trip in my Passport and my wife got wet! Nope not the happy kind!!!
I was on the trailer 2 weeks ago for my roof inspection and did not see anything. After camping this past weekend with a leak, I went back up and plane as day is a series of blisters that busted open and looked like a pancake ready to flip. And yes I could see right down to the membrane where it meets the cap. Just enough to give up the drip we had.
No warranty on seals. I bought three tubes of flex seal which is whats up there now. I plan on trying to scrape away and re-lap tomorrow. To be clear. How hard can it really be to make a roof system OEM that works?

Was the blisters your mentioning in the roof material or the sealant.

Since you had the first leak, my bet is the Dicor blistered when moisture was “out gassing”. Might want to recheck after a few days the next time you do it.

I would strongly discourage the use of Eternabond. If in fact there is trapped moisture, and you seal it in with the tape, your probably asking for more severe issues down the road. JMO, YMMV.
