I purchased a dish playmaker satellite system. After registration of their service I proceeded to hook up the RG cable to the SAT port inside the compartment.
After all the tightening the cable-no signal is registering.
How do I rectify this issue? I have TV service only by running the RG cable through a window and made cable connection straight into Wally receiver.
Suggestions?

You don't say what trailer you have but if you have antenna booster turn it off.

We have a HM318TH. The booster button is off for the antenna.
I purchased a new RG cable tester and retested the connections. Found a strong signal from the SAT port outside to the RG cable inside. When I hooked up the cable to Wally- no TV.
So I'm perplexed. But when I reconnect the cable directly from the satellite antenna to rear of Wally- voila! I get TV. ???
Thanks

Splitters used don't allow power from Wally to playmaker.

This post from the above thread is most telling:

Keystone TV process broken
Just heard from Camping World today that they and Keystone agree all new Cougars and Montanas share an issue: their wiring is not interoperable with sat, cable, and OTA due to their wiring process using DIPLEXERS and single coax cables. Everyone agrees with new wiring harness, external antennae can’t power the You should all read how diplexers, triplexers, combiners, and splitters work/don’t work. Keystone isn’t standing behind their product, but Camping World in Strafford, MO is going to run new coaxes from my convenience center in to the living room and bedroom TVs. Hopefully will fix the issue by having a direct line from convenience center coax in, to TV out in both entertainment centers. Good luck.

No splitters used. Using 3' RG cable from internal SAT port directly into Wally. No TV.
But when I take the cable from antenna and hook up directly to Wally-TV.
???

Spitters are used behind the walls in the camper. The ones used allow only one way comminication not two way as the Wally needs
That's why it works when you hook it up direct but doesn't when ran through the camper lines. If you take the faceplate off where the coax gets attached and pull the wires out of the wall you will come upon splitters. That is the issue.

The splitters are their so you can go between OTA and cable but they mess with the Wally. Camping World rewired my Cougar so I can watch the Dish on HDMI and OTA on antenna, don't even have to turn the booster off. Just switch TV inputs.
