26RLSWE Questions

Just made a deal on a 2017 Hideout 26TLSWE and need a couple of questions answered by those who know. Some times dealers do not.
1. do the new rigs come pre wired for solar.
2. It has a back up camera on the back how does that work.
Thanks for any answers I am coming from a truck camper, and previous 5th wheel owner just new to Travel Trailers

1) I highly doubt it has any prewiring for solar if your talking about roof panels. If it has been prewired for portable panels then there would be a covered plug on the side of the coach. Furrion is the most common brand I've seen.

2) It most likely has the mount for a back up camera, not the camera. Again I bet it's Furrion brand. If you buy the kit, it will have the camera and wireless monitor. Camera gets power most often from the clearance lights.

I have to ask, Did you see the trailer or buy on-line?

We saw the rig but did not ask the questions. I have a very skeptical nature when it comes to sales men. Some are just crooked and some do not know. My cousin bought a 5th wheel several years ago , his first rv trailer. and a salesman told him sure you can pull that 32 foot with a 1/2 ton truck, the trailer brakes will stop you and you have a big v8 with plenty of power.
