Stovetop Grate dangerous!

have new cougar 5th wheel with Atwood 3 burner cooktop. The grate over the burners is a two piece and pots and pans just slide off while your cooking because of center where the two pieces meets is higher than the front and back, and the grate is smooth coated. Anyone else have this issue? Seems very dangerous, looking for one piece replacement if anyone know where to get one?

All the Atwood stoves with the two piece tops I have seen will have 4 "legs" that set in rubber grommet. Are you sure all the grommets are seated right and the legs pushed in equally?

I used some washers on the legs of mine to level the surface

As Chuckster57 said...Double check the rubber grommets that "capture the grate".

This is critical for a level cooktop, and to hold the grates in place while in transit. They can really wreck your weekend if they bounce around the camper on a rough road!
