All HVAC systems quit! - Look at suprise 2 amp fuse behind thermostat cover!

I purchased a like new 2012 Raptor 300MP late last fall. Was getting it ready for our fourth trip and the air conditioning quit.

I checked the main black fuse/breaker panel and it was okay.

Next I pulled the thermostat cover and found the problem. Of course the fuse is there to protect the thermostat circuitry but what do you think the amp rating is on the screw - oh my!

I ordered the same thermostat from Amazon for $61 to the house and it arrived the day we were leaving - easy plug and play.

I realize I could have installed a digital modern unit (different brand), but the exact replacement eliminated any guess work and it runs fine.

Also, I bought some spare fuses for everything I could find that was fused.
