factory tires on my F250

ok, reading the label on my door states "Tire and Loading Information "

The combined wt of occupants and cargo should not exceed 1990 lb.
LT275/65R20E/ 126/13R 450 KPA, 65 PSI

The actual tire states,,,
max load single 1700 kgs / 3750 lbs
550 KPA (80 PSI)

after weighing my truck empty drive axle is 3220 lbs
loaded for camping, drive axle comes in @ 5460 lbs
... more than the 1990 lbs, but under the 6100 axel rating?
assume i should run the back tires @ 80 psi when towing?

... confused

I will gave some advice. My truck has same tire wt. ratings as did a 09 F250 patrol truck I had until retirement. I carried a 4400lb camper in the bed and had about 7500lbs on the rear axle. I found that I had to run them (rear) at 80psi or to much flex and sidewall bulge. Front at 65. At empty I ran 50-55psi. The work truck I tried different psi to pull a 4500 boat and found 65 rear 55 front. AT the fords 80 psi they want the tires at caused the truck to slide at high speed turns etc. Since only the center of the tire was in contact with the road. Now that I pull a TT I pull at 65 psi and found it seened better regarding bulge vs 55psi.. So I would start at 65 and maybe go higher. I would not run 80 empty. My trailer hitch wt is about 900 lbs with nothing in the bed. The higher psi the you keep in them with out towing, the faster the center of the tires wear out and it is a harder ride. The low tire warning light was on the work truck for 1.5 years but, it drove better and safer.
