New Member from Colorado

Howdy from Golden, Colorado. Just came in from clearing a foot of snow from the drive way. I came in to take a break and introduce myself.

My DW and I have been camping and RVing our whole married life (28 years). We have done the usual progression of Tent, Tent Trailer, Hybrid Trailer and 5er.

Last year we used our trailer 37 nights and 5 thousand miles. We usually camp one weekend with our FCRV Chapter and one longer trip each month.

We just ordered a Cougar 318SAB. Hopefully it will be delivered in early April.

The 318 is significantly longer than our current trailer, so I have been reading up to hone my trailer backing skills.

We are empty nesters, one each, with a Lab and two Cats.

Can't wait for spring.

Congrats on the new 5er I am sure you will have many years of great campig.

Like you, I am waiting to get some practice time in on backing. That chance will come later this week as we are moving across town. I haven't towed her since we brought her down from the dealer in Longmont last Oct.
