From time to time it seems many of us question the quality of the RVs being produced. Here's an article from the RVDA (Recreational Vehicle Dealers Assoc) that lists the brands of RVs that the dealers are apparently happy with. They use the dealer satisfaction index for the dealers. Good news is that no matter what owners think apparently nearly all makes and models of trailers are well liked by their dealers (satisfied).

The way campers are built seems that one might be fine and the other riddled with issues. You don't know if this list of dealer favorites has some history or is just since the pandemic induced plethora of problems. What got my interest is that Gulf Stream was on the hit parade of motorized and my sis and BIL have a 2020 Gulf Stream Conquest that cost more than my house did 25 years ago (class C) and it was slapped together and many of the components have issues. It has far more issues than my old Cougar. Perhaps the next Gulf Stream off the line was just peachy keen?

What brands didn't make the favorites? Noticed Forest River only had Flagstaff and some other model mentioned. Does that meant he rest are no bueno according to dealer likes? Forest River makes a ton of models.

Dealers typically don't trash talk brands they sell, that would be counter productive.

Absolutely. One of the reasons we have issues, even as a SM tells you they have problems.....but some more than others. Couple that with the fact that dealerships that sell abc brands and not the others will surely pat "their" brands on the back.....then the buyer gets whatever, and the manufacturer, based on the DSI feedback thinks they are putting out the best product in the field. Sort of a losing, self perpetuating, situation.
