Newbie Boondocker
Hello!
My daughter and I are living off-grid in a 2006 Cougar FW 281 EFS with our two dogs. New to campers, it’s been quite an experience so far. We’re boondocking on land I own, waiting for a house to be built. I paid someone to haul the camper here from where I bought it.
Glad to be here!

Welcome from NM . Living off the grid is challenging to be comfortable. I think solar and a generator is needed . I can go 2 weeks in the desert with no troubles the first thing to go is my fresh water the gray gets drained into a gofer hoe, the black has to be taken into a dump station . I use a 40 gal water bag that gravity drains into my camper.

If you're living on the property while your house is under construction you should have the electrical contractor to run temporary power to trailer.
