Darco Edge Repair

I noticed the darco on the front edge of the trailer bending. I looked underneath and can see the rest of the sheet is firmly held in place except at the front edge. I'm concerned about water leaking while driving in the rain. Would double sided tape or caulking be a better to fix the problem?

Best,

Matt

That looks more like coroplast. Is it rigid or flexible like T shirt fabric? If it’s coroplast just get a few stainless steel self tapping screws and washers. You can run a bead of foam along the front edge when your done. If it is Darco, then we need to do something different like “scrim” tape.

Thanks for the quick reply, Chuckster57. I googled coroplast and looked at an image. It's coroplast and secured by screws behind the fold. I'll repair per your suggestion. Thanks again.

Best,

Matt

Will not believe how much water enter there while traveling. I used aluminum strip some sort of edging all the way across the front . I think there is a bead of silicone along the front of the strip.
