Couch Release Cable

Have a 2017 Fuzion with 4 person reclining seats.
Problem is the cable that went bad frayed is located in between the lower seat and arm rest. Took that section out of trailer and cant seem to figure out how to remove old cable without going destruct mode on this POS. Any help would be appreciated and maybe pictures?
Thanks in advance.....Mike

If your recliner is the type with the seat controller in the cupholder, take a look at this video:

If it's the "parachute D ring release" try this: https://lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws...cd_0002286.pdf

"Cut away" ???? I wouldn't. Why not use a common screwdriver, pry the staples in a small area of the fabric and after replacing the cable, restaple it in place???
