Standard accessories on a new 5th wheel
We will be picking up our new Montana HC 293RK quite a ways from home and camping on our way back. We are experienced campers and I am putting together some of the things we need to bring from home. The question in my mind now is what I can expect to be included with the new rig so that I won't have to bring them. Are any of the following normally included from the factory?
1) 50 Amp power cable? If so, how long?
2) Dump Hose? If so, how long?
3) Lug nut wrench?
4) Any kind of jack for tire changing if necessary?
I have all these things, just would prefer not to have to take them along.
BTW, we're going back to trailering from a class C motorhome and this will be our first 5th wheel. Will be towing it with a 2014 Chevy 2500HD 6.0 Gas with 4.10 rear end.
Thanks, Rich in NW WA

Howdy abd congrats on the new trailer. I've never seen a trailer come with a lug wrench or a jack suitable for tire changing and most don't include a sewer hose. Occasionally you can talk the saleman into throwing in a starter kit which will include a cheap sewer hose and a too short water hose, but you'd be better served with a discount on your purchase of quality hoses.
There will normally be an electrical service cord included although the length may vary they will be serviceable for all but the occasional campsite.

You will not see a jack or wrench. As said above, sewer hose will only come in a starter kit if the dealer throws one in, you will then have to attach the ends to the hose etc. the electric hose will most likely be about 25 feet. Good luck and congrats.

If your new RV is 50 amps, you may want to throw in a 50amp to 30amp adapter plug. Sometimes you'll run across a campground that only has 30 amp service or the only sites open are 30- amp sites and almost always, if you need an adapter at a campground store, it'll cost you double or triple what you can get one for at a RV parts store.
Sewer hose and end connectors (You should have everything you need from your motorhome) 15' should work for most campgrounds. If you can't hookup with that length, just use your holding tanks and dump on the way out the next morning.
water hose, same as with the motorhome.
jack/lug wrench and a tire pressure guage
chocks/blocks to keep the trailer from rolling when you unhitch
a level (bubble level for the refrigerator is all you'll really need)
water pressure regulator (also same as your motorhome)
toilet paper that works with a black tank (same as motorhome)
sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, toiletry items
if you're going to cook, the kitchen equipment you think you'll need
Bleach to sanitize the water system.
Hopefully most of that will fit in a couple of totes in the back of the truck and you can stash the totes in the front compartment once you unload the "stuff" into the new RV.

Thanks for the responses. Guess I'll be bringing my big torque wrench and bottle jack, but based on reviews I've read maybe pick up a "trailer aid plus". Good on the rest of the things you mentioned, will be bringing adapters to go from 50A to 30A to 20A. You never know what elect you will have available. Thanks again, Rich

PNWHAM Good advice! bring your own. the starter kit is almost worth less. When we picked up our new unit there was something that looked like a lug wrenh but it only fit the winch to raise or lower the spare enjoy the new toy!!

Get this to use as your lug wrench, along with the appropriate socket.

Yeah but lug nut tech never gets old! OP last popped in a couple years ago (2019).
